I want to link the Open Gov referendum that requests funding from the Treasury with the Treasury proposal.

I see that this is done in Polkassembly. An example is this: The Referenda which has an id 62 and the Treasury Proposal which has an id 355.

If you see in the top they are linked, but checking the On-chain information I can't see how is actually linked

Navigate to the timeline page and open the executed link.

After the referenda were executed, there is an event indicating that the treasury proposal is 355.

  • Thanks for this solution, is not 100% accurate you will be able to link it no? Because in the list of events of that block there is another event SpendApproved there is no link to your proposal

I am also trying to do this for my dune dashboard.

My understanding so far: First, a preimage is noted with a hash. The referendum is started with the hash and returns an ID. Also, a treasury spend proposal is created with a beneficiary and amount. (Not clear if this is done explicitly or as part of the primage)

When the referendum is won, and the money is awarded, the proposal ID is returned.

It may be possible to link the events "confirmed" and "awarded" by proximity (in the block), beneficiary and amount. But it looks ugly.
